Valentine’s Day is upon us, where for more than 15 years, we’ve had the privilege of freezing love in time – not just the kind that involves whispered “I love yous” and grand gestures, but also the kind that lingers in small, quiet moments. The love that unfolds in glances, in held hands, in the space between words.
Love, as We Know It
Romantic love is what we tend to celebrate the loudest. We’ve captured couples in the first rush of infatuation, in the middle of a lifelong adventure, in the beautiful, tender in-betweens. We’ve been there for the nervous, knee-on-the-ground proposals, the electric thrill of pre-wedding jitters, the quiet strength of long-time love. Each photo is a love letter to the beauty of partnership.
(Cue the soft glow of sunset and a well-timed gust of wind for cinematic effect.)

But love isn’t just romance. Love is the tiny hand of a newborn wrapping around a parent’s finger. Love is the way a mother smooths down her child’s hair before a photo. Love is the exhausted, yet joyful, look shared between parents who haven’t slept in months but wouldn’t trade it for the world.

Love is also friendship. The overlooked, yet vital force that keeps us going. The friend who shows up at your door with ice cream after a bad day. The one who makes fun of your terrible choices but stands by you anyway. The people who make life lighter, funnier, and a little less lonely. We’ve captured best friends, siblings who double as best friends, and friendships that feel like family. And honestly? These moments deserve just as much celebration as romance.
And then, there’s self-love—the love we so often forget to give ourselves. The kind that doesn’t come wrapped in a bow or delivered with a grand speech. It’s in taking time for yourself, in learning to see your own worth. It’s in standing in front of a camera, not for anyone else, but to celebrate who you are in this moment, as you are.
This Valentine’s Day, take a moment. Celebrate love in whatever form it appears in your life. Hug your people. Call your best friend. Buy yourself flowers. Book that photoshoot. Because love, real love, isn’t just loud and dramatic. Sometimes, it’s quiet. Sometimes, it’s just… there.
Steady. Unshaken. Waiting to be noticed.
Fifteen years of capturing love, and we’re still in awe of it. Here’s to the next fifteen.
